Overview
The quickest way to stand face to face with Everest. You leave Kathmandu early by private helicopter and fly east along the Himalaya to Lukla, where the helicopter refuels.
From Lukla it is a short hop up the Dudh Kosi valley to Hotel Everest View. Breakfast is served with Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku in front of you, before the flight back to Kathmandu.
There is no walking and no long stay at altitude, so it suits almost everyone — including those who would love to see Everest but have no wish to trek.

Dates & departures

Questions, answered
Do we land at Everest Base Camp?
No. This tour lands at Hotel Everest View for breakfast, with Everest in view. Ask us if you would like a flight closer to Base Camp added.
Is the altitude a concern?
You spend only breakfast time at 3,880 m. Move slowly when you step out and drink water; most people feel fine.
How many people can come?
The helicopter carries a small group; how many depends on weight and altitude. The price shown is per person for two guests — ask us for other group sizes.
What if the weather is bad?
Helicopters only fly in good visibility. If your morning is cloudy, we move the flight to the next suitable day.
