Good to know
How long is the flight from Kathmandu?
About 30 to 40 minutes each way. With time on the ground for breakfast, the whole trip takes about three to four hours from your hotel.
Do we need a permit?
Yes. Kyanjin Gompa is inside Langtang National Park, so each guest needs the park entry permit. We arrange it.
When is the best time to fly?
October to May, in the early morning. In the monsoon (June to September) cloud often closes the valley, so flights are less certain.

The mountains
From the village you look up at Langtang Lirung (7,234 m), with Naya Kanga, the Ganja La ridge and Tserko Ri around the valley.
