Before you go

Good to know

Do we need any experience?

No. The rafting is a gentle river suitable for beginners, and the bungee and swing come with a full safety briefing and trained staff. Guides are with you throughout.

Are there age or weight limits?

Yes, for some activities. At The Cliff the bungee and swing have minimum ages and weight ranges, and rafting usually needs guests to be able to swim or be comfortable in water. Tell us your ages and weights and we will check each activity.

Can we skip an activity?

Of course. You can watch instead of jumping, or we replace an activity with something calmer, such as a spa afternoon or a lake walk.

The complete guide

How hard is it?

Our adventure trips need no experience. The Seti River is a gentle Class II–III river, good for first-time rafters, and the bungee and swing are run by trained staff with a full safety briefing. You choose how much you do; every activity can be swapped for a quieter one.

Seasons

Rafting runs from September to June and is best from October to December and March to May. Chitwan is best from October to March. In the monsoon (June to August) the rivers are too high for these trips.

Comfort and Luxury

Every trip is priced at two levels. The activities are the same; the hotels change, for example Hotel Barahi and Jagatpur Lodge on Comfort, and The Pavilions Himalayas and Meghauli Serai, a Taj Safari lodge, on Luxury.
