Overview
This trip is for guests who want to be active, with comfortable beds at night. You fly to Pokhara and drive to The Cliff at Kushma, a bungee and giant swing site above the Kali Gandaki gorge, where you sleep the night before you jump.
Back in Pokhara you have a gentle day on Phewa Lake and at the International Mountain Museum and the World Peace Pagoda. Then you raft the Seti River for two days: Class II–III rapids through forested gorges, waterfalls and suspension bridges, and a night at Seti River Camp, a riverside camp reached only by raft, with a bonfire and dinner by the water.
The river ends near Chitwan National Park. You spend three nights at a jungle lodge, with a full day in the park by private jeep looking for one-horned rhino, deer, crocodiles and, with luck, a tiger, a canoe on the Rapti River and a visit to the elephant breeding centre, before flying back to Kathmandu.

Dates & departures
Best from October to December and in March to May, when the Seti is at a good level and Chitwan is cool and dry. The river is too high in the monsoon (June to August). Price per person, based on two guests travelling together and sharing a room.
Questions, answered
Do I have to do the bungee jump?
No. You can do only the giant swing, only watch, or skip The Cliff altogether and spend the day in Pokhara instead. Tell us and we adjust the price.
Are there age and weight limits for the bungee and swing?
Yes. The Cliff sets minimum ages and weight ranges for each jump (as a guide, the bungee is for adults within roughly 45–100 kg). Please send your ages and weights and we will confirm before booking.
Is the Seti River safe for beginners?
Yes. The Seti is one of Nepal’s gentlest rafting rivers, with Class II–III rapids. You get a safety briefing, a helmet and a life jacket, and trained river guides steer the raft. Being comfortable in water is enough.
What is Seti River Camp like?
A riverside camp reached only by raft, with safari tents that have their own bathrooms, a dining area and a bonfire in the evening. It is simple and peaceful rather than a hotel; there is no road and limited phone signal.
When can we do this trip?
Rafting runs from September to June, and Chitwan is best from October to March, so October to December and March to May are ideal. In the monsoon (June to August) the river is too high.
Is the price per person?
Yes. The price shown is per person for two guests travelling together and sharing a room. Tell us your group size and dates and we will send an exact quote.
